THE TORSOS

Probably the most straightforward and less conceptual series of them all. Torsos have been an obsession of Visual Artists of every generation since the beginnings of paintings and sculpting and that comes as a natural and intuitive exploration of the beauty of the human forms and shapes. Far beyond just a representation, the torsos bring, through the ages and incredible document of how the perception of beauty of the female body has changed though the different social moments in history. These images are part of my documentation of the contemporary perception of such incredible bodies during my lifetime.
